As the part of IEEE TENSYMP 2017, the spring conference of IEEE Region 10 organized by IEEE Kerala Section, a Young Professionals track will be conducted on 15 July 2017 from 16.00 hrs to 18.00 hrs at Le Meridian, Cochin. The track is organized by IEEE Kerala Young Professionals and supported by IEEE Region 10 Young Professionals.

The track includes a technical session on Smart Vehicles by Dr. Roshy John, Global Practice Head at Tata Consultancy Services. Dr. Roshy John started driverless car revolution in India by altering a Tata Nano. He has over thirteen years of experience in developing robots for different Industries. His major research interest is in robotics and automation that helps to replace humans from mundane and repetitive tasks.

The technical session will be followed by a panel discussion on “Smarter Professionals for Smart Cities”, where eminent and distinguished personalities from various industries and academia would be the panelists.

The event is open for IEEE Young Professionals and delegates of TENSYMP 2017. There are only limited seats which will be filled through online registration. The session will be followed by cultural programmes and gala dinner. We request young professionals to use this opportunity as this will be a rare occasion to meet and network with various delegates from IEEE Region 10, IEEE India Council and IEEE Kerala Section.
